The Places We Wish To Go… Dubai

The Places We Wish To Go… Dubai
Dubai has been on our wish list for a good few years now. With it being around a 7 hour flight from the UK it makes it a bit more desirable to me, I don’t mind long haul flights but I’d rather not drag the kids on anything too long if I don’t really need to. Our youngest does not sleep at all on flights so it’s just not much fun… as you can probably imagine 😉
Here are our top reasons why Dubai is one of the 10 places I want to visit next.

Burj Khalifa – The Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building, an impressive 828 metres high. You can pay to visit the observation decks on level 148 which are the highest observation decks in the world. I’m not sure I’d get James up there but me and the kids would LOVE this 🙂

Aquaventure Waterpark – When it comes to water parks I am the biggest kid around. I love to be in water and could spend all of my days having fun in waterparks. Aquaventure Waterpark is at at Atlantis The Palm Hotel (somewhere I would love to stay) and is the largest waterpark in Dubai spread across 42 acres.

Desert Safari – I couldn’t go to Dubai without a going for a desert safari. Dune bashing, camel rides, belly dancers, sunset… it couldn’t sound any more perfect!

Dubai Mall – Dubai Mall is said to be one of the largest shopping malls in the world with over 1200 shops. It also hosts KidZania which is an interactive children’s sized city, an aquarium, an ice rink and a daily fountain show. Sounds impressive, doesn’t it!

Sand boarding – I would love to have a go at this but I’m not sure I’d be any good… you have to try everything once though right 😉
