And boom! Just like that it’s November! It’s the 1st of the month so you all know what that means? That’s right it is time for this month’s #ThePlacesWeWillGoLinky. We are really looking forward to reading all your posts this month, I am sure with us just having half term you will have been on some awesome adventures!
Last month we had some really great posts link up and as promised each month we will share two of our favourite posts from the previous month’s linky. Make sure you follow the rules if you want to be picked 😉
Cathy from Wishful Wonderings linked up her post about her family holiday to the Aska Lara Resort & Spa in Turkey which made me wish I’d not forgotten to update Boo’s passport so we could have gone away during half term. The Aska Lara resort looks perfect for a family holiday, my kids would just love that waterpark and personally right now I’d love to be lay in one of these cabana with a lovely cocktail 😉
Ranting Gran shared her post about Blackpool Pleasure Beach and it brought back lots of happy memories from my teenage years! I was one of the first people to ride the Big One back when it opened! I’d love to go back again one day and take my kids to enjoy some of the rides 🙂
This month we have enjoyed day’s out at Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes after winning tickets on Facebook :), we spent a spooky day at Warwick Castle and had another visit to our local nature reserve.
We were hoping to go away at half term but I stupidly forgot to update Boo’s passport! I can’t tell you how cross I was with myself especially when half term came and my whole Instagram feed was of people of enjoying the sun! So I’m going to have to wait until February to feel the sun on my face now unless some kind of miracle happens in the UK and we get a winter heatwave 😉
Right now it’s over to you, I am sure all of your posts will make me green with envy this month 🙂

Looks like Cathy had an amazing time xx
I did Kara thank you. Thank you for including me in your round up x
Just think, in February when we are all in the cold, you will be enjoying your sun now the passport is renewed! I am still hoping for a winter heatwave though! That would be nice:-)
That picture from Turkey has made me want to book a holiday for some winter fun!
Oh what a nightmare about the passport, but these things happen for a reason. We had a great halfterm in Holland and would really recommend it
Oh no! I’m so terrified of doing this one day. You just kind of assume it was alright last time so it must still be in date, don’t you? Hope you get to plan one to make up for it.
Argh – passports are stressful, I always check ours about 100 times as I am paranoid they will run out and we will be stranded at the airport ! At least you look like you had fun.
I want to sip a cocktail from that cabanna!
Did you enjoy Gullivers land, it is quite local to us and my Daughter loves it there.
Not sure if you are into camping but the campsite next door run by the camping and carravaning club is fantastic and very clean!

I would be jealous Penny but we spent a week in Orlando in August so I can’t be really 😉 Warwick was great fun x
Oh, I so want to go on holiday after reading this!
I really want to go on the Big One at Blackpool – it looks so much fun
This isn;t helping me at all right now as I’m trying to avoid searching the internet for holidays and you’ve made me really want to right now 😉
Oh dear! Hope you have sorted out her passport!
Oh this makes me want to plan lots of adventures! I need to get my son’s passport updated too though…
Love Blackpool, my hometown 🙂 and actually our girls have really enjoyed Gullivers in the past too!
It was the passport expiring that didn’t allow me to attend my sister’s wedding last month! Fab linky!
Ahh sorry you didn’t get to go away over half-term. We didn’t either, hospital loveliness, although my daughter had fun with her grandparents! I didn’t know about this Linky so will bear it in mind, I need to get myself a Linky schedule sorted out once I’ve caught up with everything!
