There are other places of astounding beauty, such as the Churnet Valley, with its steam railway and Canal, woodland walks up.the devils staircase from Consall Forge to Ipstones, via Belmont woods, Cheddleton Flint Mill, and the Roaches above Leek. The people are caring and friendly, it was a wonderful place to grow up.
