I stumbled across it whilst searching for something else online and we had a brilliant day, literally didn’t want to leave. The Toy Museum is amazing and on the day we visited they had the Victorian Classroom with a very ‘real’ teacher who made me stand at the front of the class wearing the dunce’s hat – my children were not amused 😀

I think sometimes you just want to chill out somewhere nice rather than go into the history of it all – you definitely have to be in the mood for that side of NT sites.

Along with a lovely cafe and play areas for the kids. This one looks fab and has all of that.

It’s about an hour from me so I’ve added to the list to visit. National trust membership is well worth it isn’t it?
